The red Z has Limo tint on it done by a professional. Here in Florida old cars are grandfathered in as far as the percentages of tint go. I like the look of a dark tint on ANY car. In Florida tint is a must for any Z with black interior....unless you want your hatch carpet to turn brown and rot. FWIW Vicky

Warning: Police today warned all men who frequent clubs and parties to stay cautious when offered drinks by women. Females are using a date rape drug called "BEER" to target ususpecting men. This drug comes in liquid form and is available everywhere. "BEER" is used by female predators to persuade helpless male victims to go home with them. Women need only persuade a man to consume a few of these "BEERS" and then ask him home for no-strings-attached sex, a simple approach that renders most men helpless. After several "BEERS", men will have sex with even unattractive women. Often, men awaken with only hazy memories of the night before, a horrible headache and a vague feeling that something bad happened. Some really unfortunate men are even separated from their life's savings in a scam called a "relationship". In extreme cases, females have entrapped unsuspecting males into long-term servitude through a punishment called "Marriage". Apparently, men are much more susceptible to this scam once "BEER" is administered. Forward this warning to every male you know. And if you, or some man you know have fallen victim to this insidious "BEER" and the predatory women who administer it, rest assured, male support groups exist in every major city, where you can discuss the ugly details of your encounter in an open and frank manner with similarly affected, like-minded guys. For the support group nearest you, look in the Yellow Pages under "Golf Courses". Vicky
  4. John, Florida could care less if the engine# matches the vin plate#. They don't even look at cars as old as our Z's. I remember when I first bought my 280Z in '83. The DMV clerk actually came out and looked the car over making sure the title went with that car. I always thought Vin tag #'s were different then the block # anyway. It's the plate on the strut tower that has the engine number to match the block #, correct? Vicky

  8. OK, We've made reservations at the Ramada Anahiem 714-978-8088. We'll be checking in on Tuesday April 19th. MSA said rates are $71.00 a nite but the guy quoted me $79.00 a nite. Z ya Zoon Vicky

Spectacular Nate! Debut her at the Florida ZFest in February. It's in Orlando, not to far for you to bring your beauty. Vicky
  11. The very first give-a-way is the map light other than the Z dash. This exact car is being built at the body shop where ZRush was born. The client has distroyed a most perfect, straight, original 1970 240Z to make the Ferrari clone. The cost of fabrication is massive because a complete sub-frame must be built to handle the torque of the Corvette crate engine that's being put in the car. Matter of fact, the body kit was the least expensive purchase for this project. I tried to buy (save) the 240Z from the owner but she would not sell her car. I told her I have a 1978 280Z that you can butcher rather than your 240Z but she was not interested. Oh well Vicky

Well I'm 43. Bought my first Z, a 78 280Z in 1983. Sold a 78 6.6 Trans Am for that Z. Bought the Z off the original owner. Prior to the Z, I was into American Muscle Cars until I caught Z Fever. Ever since then I've been into the Japanese Muscle Car, known as our beloved Z Vicky

Another bit of H2 info. They are not as big as you might think. The small distorted windows make for an optical illusion giving the vehicle the appearence of being bigger then it really is. Next time you see one in a parking lot, walk up to it, you will be amazed AND appauled. The vehicle is most definitly a "poser". Vicky

  16. The paint code sticker on the 72 240VZ has "Amino Alkalied (sp?) Enamel" paind code #112. Didn't they quit using amino alkalied enamel paint in the mid-70's? I don't recall having that wording on my 78 280Z or even on the 77 280Z prior to restoration. Vicky

In the lower right hatch area, looks like surface rust. Maybe it's just some Z mung. Wonder why there's no body shots? I always wonder about people who advertise "never been in the snow or rain". Interior looks very nice. Vicky

  19. They normally have a host hotel which gives show participants discounts. When we went in 2003 it was the Ramada. But there are many hotels on Katella avenue because of Disney Land being right down the road. It's nice if we all stay at the same hotel so we can meet up, party and see each other cars without the mob scene at MSA. Vicky
  20. Hey Will I've e-mailed them and last response was that they'd be taking phone registrations the week of 1/24/05 and online registrations the week of 1/31/05. I keep checking the site too. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Is your Z going to be ready to rock? Vicky
  21. Then you know of whom I'm speaking of.....correct? Beautiful Z but looks like just another black Z. I would never have known the BP unless I saw the paint code. Chris if you think you have Z Fever now, wait unitl 26th is done. It just makes you want more and more and more Z's. You are way too funny Vicky
  22. Same comment along the line of MikeW. I know of a gentleman who owns a documented Black Pearl Z but doesn't want to put the BP pin-stripes on the vehicle because he's afraid they will peel, which eventually they will, and he won't be able to get another set. Does this take away from the value of the Pearl because the pinstripping is in a bag rather than on the car? Vicky

L28 with an E88. Isn't the E88 off a 240Z? What's the benefit of that? Just wondering. Vicky
  24. Like what's in a RV? Vicky
  25. I don't believe that's a true statement. The 77 has a Big Mouth TB (60mm). The intake has been reamed out to match the TB. Cold air induction as also been added. The car is built from bottom end up and it's using stock injectors, which are preforming fine. The 77 has a new ECU from MSA also. The newest mod was the installation of the MSD 6AL ignition. Noticed an increase in rev response but we haven't taken the car out on the road yet for a beat run. Been too busy. Maybe today if it's not so rainy and cold outside. JMO Vicky
