Red is number 163 or part number "PAINT-DN163"
  2. Hah, Nice.. I don't like your chances but I'm grateful you're considering it!
  3. Cheers Bruce.
  4. Tom, I have a S130 (280ZX) 5speed and mine chirp in 3rd.. well they did until my shocks in the rear realised how old they were
  5. Oh, also.. try getting some softer return springs for your twin SU's.. that'll fix the "sticky pedal" .. at least, that's the problem with mine, although I have got it down to a fine art now..
  6. Ahh yes, 3rd gear chirp Luckily we have a neighbour opposite that is generally louder and more car obsessed than us so, people around this area are somewhat used to it. DOn't do anything excessive, just when testing something out it gets a quick blat down the street and back and then back up the drive for more tinkering followed by another blat Glad you've finally got it manual now though! All you need is one of Alan's S20's Of course, then you'd probably need a different box anyway!
  7. Jeebus! Still, you must be stoked to have it all in.. I assume it's all running? If it is, you should be in 3rd gear chirp territory
  8. Parts car has actually long since gone, crushed once I'd taken what I thought I needed.. no room for it to sit here. Nissan was unable to find a new panel for me, I did try, but no go.
  9. Cheers James, I'll look into it!
  10. and $16,600NZD!
  11. Also, you should be buying a new clutch release bearing anyway, you don't know how much life the old one has in it and you don't want to be like me and have it start to make noises about 6 months later...
  12. Yeah, should be good to go, just when you get/check your new clutch plate make sure it matches up to both the pressure plate and the flywheel diameter wise.
  13. Victor is down with the clown Charlie Brown. What he said.
  14. Just a quick question, that Brown (gold) one listed @ "148 Ten Thousand Yen" would be ¥1,480,000??
  15. Bruce; Cheers, that's how I understand it, my problem being Insurance companies are reknowned for being weasels so I'm apprehensive, I will be standing my ground however, don't you worry about that Also want to prepare for worst case scenario though. Miles; Excellent. Thanks for that, it's much appreciated, Here's hoping I don't have to use them to prove anything but I almost guarantee I will. Thanks again!
  16. That's the price if it was to be a new rear quarter put on, chances are higher price if it was to be pulled, beaten and skimmed back to shape. They all would prefer the whole panel (78110-R4600 - Panel-Rear Fender RH) but if it wasn't possible two would have the skills to pull it out and one would make the entire bottom section from scratch. These two haven't given me quotes yet.
  17. I can't remember if I just left the outlets for the trans cooler lines on the rad of if I put tape or rubber caps on them, it doesn't really matter though, it won't be used anymore so as long as it's sufficiently empty of fluid you should be right. Don't want that $^!# dripping on the driveway.
  18. Crankshaft-Oil Seal for rear of block 12279-A4600 or 12279-21010 Seal-Oil-Rear Extension (Transmission output shaft) 32136-U0100
  19. Yeah, it in a manner does seem like a bonus. However the C110 has almost no value over here and is barely recognised so that price to most companies will mean an immediate write off. If you could let me know what the average condition KHGC110 sells for in Japan, it might actually help my case immensely, anything I can use to my advantage I will. I refuse to let some insurance scum decide my car isn't worth anything.
  20. Door still works, but sticks, the shut has been pulled outwards or, rather inwards towards the dent. First quote came in at $2300NZD
  21. Boot-Control Lever 74963-S0102
  22. I was turning right at a intersection and the tourist was at a Give Way.. and he didn't. He thought I was going straight and he just plain ol' drove into the side of me.
  23. Question; Why would you need a stopper for the clutch pedal? to stop it coming back up too far?? All I did was change the pivot arm across my clutch/gears work fine without any crazy stopper.
  24. Yeah, the bill won't be small, but it will be their insurance paying. I've got a guy lined up to do it, just waiting on those quotes...
