  1. Does anyone else find it weird that the last one mentioned says "Brand new in un-opened box" yet.. the picture shows the car sitting all on it's own without a box to be seen. Obviously this could mean that he has more than one car and is shwoing the one that isn't in a box, still though... they make no mention to indicate that.

I agree, if you're really set on a 240Z then the 260 will always feel like a comprimise that you'll never truely be able to adore... especially as a few months after you commit and buy the 260, a 240 will come along that is cheaper and in better condition. I say just hold firm until you find a 240.
  3. LOL LOL LOL ROFL That paper car is awesome. Is that 1/24th a little RC car? I've seen a few pictures of similar ones that aren't RC cars but yours looks to have a wee aerial.
  4. Hey nixcars, I was sure they had one but I've since had my confidence in such a thing shattered and it's slowly getting worse as time goes by... I ordered one in, the guy spoke to his supplier on the phone and the supplier asked whether it was a C10 I wanted, I said no, a C110, I said there IS a C10, but I want the C110, they spoke for a wee while longer and the end result was apparently there was some coming... and it was either going to be in Red or White, which would indicate the C110 as opposed to the C10, however, I'm yet to see any definate pictures of a C110 1/18 diecast so I'm not sure. I've paid for it, it just hasn't come in yet, when it does if it is indeed a C110 and not just a C10 or something else entirely, I'll let you and Alfadog know the part number, as he wants one too oddly enough.
  5. Hmm, not really .. other than.. "THE" Skyline. or, the C110 or, the K. Not very original, but having said that I don't tend to name my vehicles really. Some cars need names to add character.. I think you've said all you can say when you say "Skyline"
  6. I have the Original Ownership documentation which covers my cars history in New Zealand. It was Imported to Auckland, NZ. As a used car in July 1975 w/ 11000km on the clock. From what I discovered from the most recent previous owner, it originally belonged to a guy who was in the Armed Services, this is confirmed by several stickers still on the cars front and rear windows, inclusive of a series of RSA stickers as well as an NZ Airforce parking permit and a King Edward Barracks Parking Permit. There is also a NSW registration sticker on the front windscreen that was an expiry date of October 1975, which means it was still registered for use when it was bought over to NZ from Oz. In December of 1979 it changed owners with 33316km on the clock. In December of 1981 she changed hands yet again now with 46610km on the clock. That person owned the car in Auckland and at some stage, bought it down from Auckland to Christchurch. In 1999 she changed hands once more although the km on the clock is unknown. Then, the best day in history 23 August 2003, she came to be in my ownership with 89183km's on the clock. And this is her:

They didn't actually directly come to NZ as far as I understand it, they had to be ordered in as such. I think most the ones over here are Private Imports or from Australia. I'm not 100% on that though.

Speaking of ones for sale... this one is in NZ somewhere even though the website it's on is in Japan. Granted.. it has Datsun 1200 side markers but it's still pretty sweet. L26 w/ 5speed.
  9. Ahhh, thank-you.. I had a feeling it was something to do with racing but really had no idea.
  10. Please excuse my ignorance... what is ITS?:stupid:
