Dave do you still have harness's available for 280Z's?! or strictly for 240Z's?
  9. I hate my fusible links because they keep burning up damnit.. and they are soo corroded and nasty.. i decided to convert it.. I picked up the kit from Pallnet.. similar to the setup BLUE sells.. in the Atlantic Z car club.. anyway.. cheap.. and easy to do... I used a Maxifuse setup... and an MTX fuse bus!
  10. orr find a sweet deal like I did and buy 4 Tokico 5-way adjustable struts MSA's front and rear sway bar kit All new master urethane bushing kit all for... drum roll please... $300 all new!! haha.. sorry.. had to brag.. i finally found a deal.. which is sooo rare..
  11. hmm.. very interesting.. i just bought a 1 piece Gnose front end today.. for $200... and I am looking for some headlight covers.. and I can't seem to find a reliable source... any idea's?
  12. .. i sent ya all that info over AIM... !! Oh well.. good to get a second opinion i guess?
  13. you dont need the entire bracket... there's a bolt and the pedal.. and a spring... all i did was simply swap out the pedals and bolts because the pedal assembly has the hole to mount the master cylinder and pedal...
  14. holy cow.. that thing is beautiful!! soo clean and spotless .. looks like it rolled off the showroom floor!!
  15. Ok.... good news guys!! I did a voltometer test for voltage coming out of the battery and I got 13.2v and from the alternator I got 13.5v!! So.. obviously there was something wrong... guess what it was... the damn Fusible Links! one of the wires was melted and the connectors were covered in corrosion! Anyway.. soo that's it! problem solved! Fusible Links! I hate em.. time to get BLUE's maxifuse setup!
  16. Ok guys.. this is soo weird.. The past few days I have been noticing that my radio randomly shuts off and completly resets all of my settings. Normally it only resets all the settings if I unplug the negative battery cable and plug it back in... I recently installed a new battery according to the specifications, about a week ago. My Voltage guage is reading + 16v ! while my PDA connected to MegaSquirt displays 11.2v while running!!! Now I am assuming the voltage guage reads the voltage coming directly out of the alternator in my 1978 280Z.. so i'm not sure if it then hits a voltage regulator... So is the alternator overcharging then loosing alot of juice somewhere along the circuit?! Then last night when I jumped in my car my Voltage guage read BELOW ZERO, like there was no battery in it, but it started fine! I drove for about a block and my dash lights went completly out and my radio shut off, and then turned back on after like 5 minutes. HELP ME.. can anyone help diagnose my problem?!

dang beandip.. calm down.. .. we all bought Z's because of their looks and ease of workin on.. and the styling and engine and.. etc etc... i dont think anyone bought a Z strictly for the VALUE or what it could be worth, otherwise your not a true Z fan, just a collector. If you enjoy the Z that's all the matters.. the sunroof to me makes it more valuable, since I never see Z's with a sunroof.. and I am fortunate to have one with a sunroof
