Molested ,these mod type cars in Japan the birth place of the nostalgic Z bring crazy money, Google " RockyAuto '' and see if this guy is :stupid: , hey they are part of this hobby.
Add all the parts on this car and the sum will pass the 50 G's on the built.
This is a crazy , expensive , irrational hobby to some.
Hogie, your car is very nice, I really like what you did to it, but my next toy will eventually end up in SA. So I need to make sure that the upkeep will be done easy, the door and hatch locking electric feature will be a concern. The G nose and flares are mods, that yes can be added at post purchase, but if one is out there done correctly that is my aim in this hunt.
Thanks ,very nice Z you are offering, nice work/detail done to it, good color and price. As I am in this pursuit , this is the type gem as my target>>> as stated before, in no rush.
Thanks for the offer, but lurking on this site, the L28ET seems to be as you mention a bit temperamental. I will be visiting San Diego CA, in a few days, work related, but do plan to check on two particular Z's, one is a 71 with an L28/5spd/A/C and a 73 with an LS1 conversion , will see .
^^ Hardway, thanks for the tip, really nice California specimen, good pictures but I really want one a bit more updated, this one will need suspension work for a better stance, wheels and A/C. I am in no rush and want to find a gem
I am in the drive and enjoy mode. I do have a list, I want a turn key car with a super strait gleaming body , a detailed interior, A/C a must have since this will be a fair weather toy, the drive train at optimum level. Add to this performance, it's a sports car. My budget is in the high teens to mid 20ts. So I need to focus on old school mods or newer resto mods, here is my dilemma
^^^^ Debating to go resto/mod or old school mod, just saw a super clean 240 with an LS1 conversion at a local coffee/gas meet and got my head spinning, This is my current daily car>>>
On the radar, Ebay seems to be the outlet , looking at this one at the moment but not sold on the color >>>Datsun : Z-Series 2 door in Datsun | eBay Motors
