Oxy & acetylene cutting torch will cut most of the sump off, then get your 100mm anngle grinder & grind off the excess. That should do it.

OK guys, here's my 2c worth, P76, good for a boat anchor only, doesn't like reving, 3.5L Rover, only slihgtly better than the above, 4.4 President, too old, Nissan VH41 or 45 would be the go if you wanted to keep it in the family, but (if my info is correct) didn't come with a manual geabox behind it, but could make one fit, so why not go for the LS1 alloy chev or even better, the new 4.6 or 5.4 all alloy OHC Ford. Both these take a 5 or 6 speed behind them. If you need more grunt just add a hair dryer on each side to any of the above & that should get you mobile.

Bored & stroked to 2.8 litres, fully ballanced & fully reconditioned with flat top pistons, N42 ported head, high volume oil pump, heavy duty valve springs, 38/68 cam, electronic dizzy, RPM heavy duty clutch kit, light flywheel, twin SU's with Pipercross air filter & SWR mandrel bent extractors.
