  1. I have 9 heater control knobs and every single one is cracked. Now I have reproduced the early style heater control knobs.
  2. The Last 2 new sets with "Datsun" went for over $400+ each on ebay and that was a few months ago....
  3. This is the best color match that I could get for the early 70's series 1 Redish/orange color brake booster check valve.
  4. Reproduction 72-73 Am/FM radio face plate, I am also working on the clear part. Reproduction Radio knobs also done.
  5. I had a similar problem when painting my car, the paint shop mixed part of the paint wrong and I painted it. Then I looked at the paint and I could not sleep that night. I have also had every single nut, bolt, washer, etc. replated on my car, if it came from the factory it has been replated. I ended up repainting my car because it would have driven me crazy. So if you have lost sleep then repaint because it will just drive you crazy, at this point in your build what is another $2 or $3k. Because i know how much I have in my build.   7. Can anyone help me out with a pic of a early 70 series one Rubber Hood adjuster? I understand it is different than the later Rubber Hood adjusters in that it is one solid rubber piece molded into the bolt vs slipped over the top of the bolt. Steve

  9. The problem with speedo cable grommet is that it would have to be cut to get over the ends. Nissan made two types and early and a later style. Steve

  19. Thanks for the input guys, both my 71's have black and my 72 has a black also. I can do them in Red also, so I will make up a batch of Red. Thanks again for input on these parts. Steve.
  20. I am working on the antenna mast finisher nut plastic part. Plan on doing this in both a hard plastic and a shore 90A urethane type. This is a sample I machined for casting.
  21. update: found an original 71 choke cable grommet. The nipples are straight and 10mm long, I will improve the design but it will still look just like the original once installed. It looks bad but this is what I was needing. thanks all for input and help. steve
  22. Dan, I will mold up a few more sets of the clear defroster wire boots and let you know. I finished up the angled version of the early 70-71 choke grommet and I am waiting on the original before I do the other straight version. I have all the parts machined and ready to go.
