Parts Wanted: Looking for drivers door patch panel
I would think you could shape that piece fairly easily. Make a rectangular patch. Make the hard crease in a vise. Shape the curve over a piece of pipe

A different kind of Z
S54 M coupe. Love it. They are very fast. We have an 06 M roadster in the driveway right now we are rebuilding. Such a nice motor... BTW how does one determine if the rod bearings need refreshing?

Z's on BAT and other places collection
No reserve! That's bold. I don't think I would agree to that unless I was really confident I wasn't going to leave a couple hundred thousand on the table!

16lbs Stant radiator cap for Champion 3 row radiator
What does worn mean? Pictures?? It will not change the temperature in the radiator at all! It will boil at a higher temperature but then you might bust hoses at the higher pressure or have leaks. "If it's not broke; don't break it!!"

I believe all the newer BMW manual boxes use a "lifetime" atf for lubrication. It's red and feels just like ATF. I believe it was done to help increase mileage and reduce parasitic drag

L28 front cover
I use liquid sealers very often. I recently used it on a bmw valve cover. Its not recommended. They are notoriously leaky.

Bleeding rear brakes
I have 2 different style vacuum bleeders but I still prefer pedal bleeding. I dont know if you've noticed but air can come in around the threads of the bleed screw. That can't happen with pedal bleeding. Fluid can come out but air can't come in

Bleeding rear brakes
I sometimes run ½ a quart through before I'm happy with how it looks. Mainly because a I want clear fluid coming out. No black. The bubbles normally go away pretty fast unless the line is really empty
