how much better?
Chickenwafer, I am not sure if that is correct information. I run a Roadster clutch on my Z Race Car with a "B" box transmission and have no issue with it. I think the correct answer is make sure that your clutch will work with the Trans you are getting.

Stolen Z!
Unfortunately early Z's are very easy to steal...and so they make a good target for thieves. We will keep an eye out down in San Diego for your car. Best of luck for a speedy recovery of your Z.

my proposed paint
Dodge has that color that changes in the light, that emulates the color that you have mentioned....I think your z would look great in that color. Met Jello a long time ago, the DK's played at my High School in Northern Calif. A good story for another time. Nothing like a little "Holiday in Cambodia"!! Are you going to MSA? If so, track me down my Z and Roadster will be there. Ron

my proposed paint
An idea that I have seen done well: A metal flake paint under the clearcoat of the BRE stripes so that in the right light the BRE stripes are visible. It is not as eye catching, and is very suttle. If you need the correct dimensions of the BRE stripes, I might know someone who can help you with that :cross-eye ...Also, the "datsun" logo sits right under the body line on the fender. See my gallery for more details. Viva Las Vegas!

Why are air dams so expensive?
Why buy an airdam that will attempt to fold under your car at 80 mph and sag in 2 years!! buy fiberglass, and buy more than one...you will break at least one over time.

Bolt-on Rear Sway Bar '72 240z Susp Tech's
Hi Curtis, Did you look on their website? www.designproductsracing.com? I have their bars on my car front and rear along with their modified front and rear suspension componants. Ron

Bolt-on Rear Sway Bar '72 240z Susp Tech's
Curtis, I almost agree with you...ST makes the most common solution, and it is very good. Saner and DP Racing make the best solution. DP makes an adjustable tubular front and solid adjustable rear bar that is the "Best" that I am aware of. Ron

Bolt-on Rear Sway Bar '72 240z Susp Tech's
Superdave the dimensions are completely different for a bar that mounts in the stock rear location on a 260/280 vs 240. I have a set of AZ Z front and rear adjustable swaybars for a 260 /280 that I will sell cheap if your interested.

Alan point taken...It is very easy for Americans to settle into a conversation and forget that there are our friends from Europe and Australia that pay close attention to this website, and these postings. It is a fault of ours that is not intended, Americans have this opinion that the world revolves arround us, and that is far from the truth. I spent a few days in Italy and Germany last year and it was very interesting to see how Europeans view Americans and their politics. As far as inverted snobbery...I have never understood why people think that way...these cars are classics! there were not very many made and few left on the road. We are the people who carry the torch for a piece of automotive history. Why claim that this car is less than what it is, one of the greatest sports cars ever. 26th- I agree such early cars properly restored are, in the mind of a serious collecter extremely valuable. Your cars are worth what you feel they are worth, because I doubt that they are going to be for sale any time soon. Oh, and I second the motion, don't gold plate them....
