I'm running the Isky L-480 on a bored out L24, E31 head w/ larger valves installed. Its a nice cam. Has a lope at idle. Isky has been in business for a long time and they also make the Nissan L7 and L9 race cams which are the Isky L-475 and L-490 I paid $180 and thats for the internally oiled camshaft. Crane Cams have gone up in price, $322 ouch! You can call Isky and ask them about there cams. There is one guy I talked to who is very knowledgeable on Z's, sorry I don't remeber his name. Mike

If you are talking about the actual intakes and not the balance tube, it should be have a nipple connection for coolant line or possibly a thermostat switch with a coolant connection Mike

L24 has 83mm pistons. L28 has 86mm pistons. Boring an L24 to 86mm is going to cost you more money then just going and getting a used L28 from a junkyard that already has 86mm bore and pistons. The 3.1L strokers have alot of power, but I don't think its anywhere close to 300hp. I think if you want 300+ hp you need to think turbo and just how much money you want to spend because its going to get expensive. You may want to think about an L28 with maybe an E88 or N42 head, oversized pistons, and performance cam. Good luck, Mike
