Front end 'spook' options..
I promise to send those clips out as soon as possible. There was only one good clip on the corner pieces. I think there might be some on the center valance. I am going to the garage tonight to put the summer tires back on my wife's subie so I will check then.

Front end 'spook' options..
Don't worry I haven't forgotten about these. I have been pretty sick the past week. I am going down to the garage tonight so I should be able to get a few clips. I did find one in my sandblast booth. Are these the ones you are looking for. If so PM me your address and I will send these off to you as soon as possible.

Front end 'spook' options..
Well, I blasted both parts today... I only used about 60 pounds of pressure so I wouldn't damage the metal. There were 4 different color paint on there. I went to to bare metal on the front but I kept most of the original primer on the backside. Where the rust was the metal is a little pitty. There are a couple cracks that are visible now that all of the paint is gone. This is one of the advantages to getting it down to bare metal, it takes all the guessing out of what is actually underneath the paint. At least you know what is there. I believe the cracks can be fixed with some wleding and the pits can easily be smoothed out with some filler (or just ground down). Obviously these are not in pristine shape so I will understand if you don't want them. Let me know either way. Passenger Side Pits Small crack Backside Driver Side Pits Small Cracks Backside

How much for a new OEM fender?
SO a friend of mine who used to be into Z's gave me some leftover parts he had. One of them is a brand new OEM right fender. The only issue is there is a small dent on the top which can be fixed with a hammer and dolly by a trained body man. As much as I would love to use this fender I won't because I am going to be adding ZG flares and I don't want to cut a brand new fender up. I am going to try to sell it to fund my restoration. How much should I get for it? It is definetly a oem fender it still has the dealer tag on the inside form where it was purchased. Any info would be gratefull.

Front end 'spook' options..
Here are the pictures. You will notice a little rust on these parts but I am sure that the metal is still good. There are no dents. I will sandblast the parts in a booth that I have and I will make sure that I use low pressure so I will not damage the panels. I cna blast these even if you are unsure to see how these look. Let me know. Here is the center panel if for $hits and giggles.

Front end 'spook' options..
I am trying to sell my front valence peices but the center section is a little tweaked and the center support is missing. The two outer panels our in decent shape and will need to have a little rust sanded off. It is not rot though. I took pictures but unfortunatley they are on my home computer. I will post them as soon as I can. The reason why I am selling these pieces is because I am looking for an air dam. Are you selling yours? Maybe we can make a trade plus cash.

Padam07's Project 1972 240Z
I bought this car 2 weeks ago in Sutton, MA from a craigslist ad stating it was a California car that has been sitting in his garage for the last ten years. Well upon arrival and a few minutes of investigating that claim was bull$hit. It was originally a Cali car 20 years ago but 20 years of New England changes that easily. The good news about this car is that is complete and a matching numbers car. My buddy and I went to the garage last night to do a little work on the Z. I changed the oil and filter. We were able to remove the AC compressor pulley from the front of the crank with the socket that John (my buddy) machined down at work. Once the pulley was off we could see if the engine was seized. The engine turned over with ease!!!! I decided to get the front of the car in the air so we could inspect the years of hacking and boy did we find a lot of ♥♥♥♥ I never expected. What I saw was a piece of nifty angle iron bolted with 10 3/8” nuts and bolts along the rail. This occurs on both sides. I have no clue why they are there but for some reason I failed to see them when I bought the car. You can also see in this picture the severely rotted and poorly fixed floor pan. This is the one of the areas that is bad that I did know ahead of time. This will be replaced with a new floor pan. Now to the most disappointing thing that I didn’t know was wrong because I was blinded with excitement from owning a 240z (that I have wanted for sometime) . You can see here someone tried to do some sort of disgusting repair to this support. All my hopes of driving this car around this summer went immediately out the window when I realized how much work is going to be involved. I still believe that I paid too much for this car. If I left my excitement at the door I am sure that I could have walked away with this car for $500 if I called the PO's bluff. I didn’t because I wanted the car so bad. Our Plan 1. Get engine running. Figure if it is still good. 2. If the motor is still good, pull engine and put it on a stand and clean and paint. If the motor is bad then use is it as an anchor and track down a SBF 302. 3. Pull the nose off, doors, hatch, and cowl. 4. Remove the interior. 5. Start body work including floor pan, front structural supports, both dog legs and rear quarter lips. Sand the entire car. 6. Clean engine bay and paint. 7. Paint car with 2003 350Z Lemons Sunset. (paint it ourselves) 8. TBD…… I will keep this updated with pics to show you my progress.

- New Owner from Mass. 56K Beware
Well I jumped feet first into my first project car and I bought a 1972 240Z. I have been wanting to get a 240Z for some time now but I just hada baby and you can't find many of these cars here that isn't rotted out beyond belief for around $1K. I found a local craigslist ad saying he hada 1971 240Z California car that has been sitting in his garage for 10 years. I went and looked at it on Saturday morning and made a deal for $1000. It definitly was a California car 20 years ago. There is some rust that will need to be fixed but overall the condition is OK. He said that it was running when he put it in the garage. I will be spending a lot of time prepping it to see if will run. My short term goal is to get all the machinical items working then put it on the road in let her rip for a while. I believe at some point someone put an aftermarket AC unit in there which I will remove. Here are some pics from tonight when I purcahsed it and brought it home. - New Owner from Mass. 56K Beware
