  1. Another PLN shot. This one with Porsche...
  2. On a much less vintage note, here's some Nismo help with LeMans since we are in the week...
  3. This is cool...
  4. As original as that looks. I would not touch the carb swap idea.
  5. Newman and Redford on set...
  6. I'd guess that Rebello is his machine shop. It's mine and he knows a bit about Z cars so... 8-)
  7. I've seen Leon's Megajolt/EDIS L2X motor running. I've never seen a steadier idle in a carburated Z and I've been around them for 35 years. Dead on accurate. I understand the argument for a stock look however...
  8. Apparently a VW fan too!
  9. Seen your neighbors cat lately?
  10. Here's a little battle going on between my two favorites...
  11. I agree with all three answers but to correct your original question, MAKES, not "made." They're still making them.
  12. Here he is. Anyone know who his companion is?
  13. Wait, actually that's McQueen isn't it?
  14. PLN with a post-race pilsner!
  15. What a career this guy has had! Still going strong too!
  16. A glamour shot to be sure but those stickers on the windshield tell of wild weekends!
  17. View from the top...
  18. Sometimes when I was at the track back then... I didn't just take pictures of the cars!
  19. I sold mine for twice that... 5 years ago!
  20. Not a Z but vintage and a Nissan...
  21. Nice! Though I'm going to slow your project down by bringing mine down there and paying him cash! 8-)
  22. Reed Datsun effort at MidAmerica Raceway in the 1980's...
  23. There *should* be snaps on the tunnel vinyl to attach them to. At least there are on mine. Just a caveat though, my vinyl is new reproduction from Classic Datsun Motorsport in Vista California. Not sure if the snaps were on the original or not...
  24. Google "reading spark plugs with unleaded fuel." The paraphrase is that unleaded fuel burns cleaner and leaves less deposits so plugs are harder to read. In any case, the OP has lots of work to do before he can even worry about reading plugs. My plugs look like pictures 4-5-6 but keep in mind, my car rides in a trailer most of the time unless I'm going to something local. I have perhaps 100 miles on my plugs in the last year...
  25. I have heard that reading plugs is useless with unleaded fuels... I use A:F gauge.
