  1. ZX effort...
  2. Somewhere between $1000 and $1200. Any less and you're giving them away. Some, like the 48DCOE were the same design but used on Ferrari race cars and Maserati street cars. They can be worth a good deal more to a person trying to make one of those Original again.
  3. Yes, they were sometimes called the Euro dampener as they were also used in European Z cars. They were sold in the Datsun Competition Catalog as Euro Dampners. That is where these two came from. by the way, you two who bought these, I will be shipping them out Tuesday when I get home. Thanks again!
  4. This is a BRE spoiler painted to match and glassed on to a reproduction glass valence.
  5. Millan! Not again!
  6. One sold. I forget Patcon. I bought both new and I have an old Datsun Competition Catalog here but the price list was a separate sheet and it's not around anymore...
  7. I think one of them is sold at $125 so, not until number two doesn't sell for a week or so.
  8. It's not. That's my 240Z. The other one was on my 280Z. I have two. And before we muddy the water, Datsun Competition Catalog only sold one under one part number for the L6 motor. the car it's on...
  9. This one is on the engine that I am replacing. I bought it years ago. The other is in my storage garage. I also bought it new and had it on my 280Z until some drunk hit me from behind one Friday afternoon...
  10. I have two of the Datsun Competition catalog single row harmonic balancers. I will be using the Performance Products one on my new Rebello motor so these can go to good homes. I have no idea what these are worth but I'm told they're rare and NLA. They don't seem to be in too bad shape though they are used. I'll post pictures later. Ill price them at $125 + shipping and if they don't sell, I'll reconsider that...
  11. Very cool rally shot!
  12. I'll check it tomorrow but it doesn't sound promising. Someone commented that they aren't the same.
  13. What's the part number? I have a new one for a 280Z...
  14. I was considering these as a street wheel. How much for a set of 4? They look great but, I love my Panasports too!
  15. Yes, Paul says Sebring. I got lucky on today being race day though. I'm all the way across the country!
  16. I think so. Picture by Paul Woodbury and he lives close. I'll ask him...
  17. Leave it. Cars are always worth the most in original preservation condition. A few decades back, I had an auto trans 280Z and it was much faster on an autocross course than my 4 speed. If this is truly an unmolested car and you want a manual transmission, flip it and move on. Now if the car had been all modified? Rock on. About 20 years back I had an Abarth exhaust I had purchased and put on a Z I had. When I sold it, the guy asked for the original exhaust so I switched it out for him. I then put it up for sale. As it happened, the guy that responded lived 2 miles from my house. I told him I'd help install it just to get to know another local Z guy. When I got to his house and he opened the garage, I saw a pristine '70 240Z. I checked the VIN and it was a first 50 car. I told the guy, I'm sorry, I can't sell you this exhaust. He looked a little shocked until I told him what he had. His wife had purchased it new and driven it until she got sick and passed. It was something like 130K miles and preservation condition. We took it up to Midas and they welded a little patch over the tiny hole in his muffler that was making noise. I was deployed when he sold it, Or it would be shined up and covered in my garage right now. So, general rule is, modify the modified and preserve the preserved. Nissan isn't making any more of them!
  18. A little less 70's but still Nissan and old...
  19. Wow! Just wow!
  20. Oh that will take a while! First of all, I work in California and live in Nevada. One week In each location. Soon though... i see the wiring ring harness as the biggest challenge.
  21. Just ordered a bunch of stuff from MSA! Progress!
  22. Steve, tough to get a good shot but here is a closer look.
  23. Since it vents crankcase pressure, I'd fix it before I'd drive it plugged like that. You could blow out front or back seals. You're lucky that is what keeps blowing off.
  24. Thanks!
