hey guys i have a 1974 260z and i am wondering what is causing my car to constently rev out. i recently got it running and my idle screw is out all the way. when i start my car it sounds good when just started, but it then slowly revs up, and on my carb a little stick located on the knob sticks up. does any one know what is my problem?

hey man if u really want to do a good job on your car, i would suggest to remove all of you paint, lessing the weight of the car. but what you could do is sand down the paint so that its more or a dull color. to prep for paint you would need a sanding block, with 120 grit sand paper. after you are down clean the area and then u are ready to do body work. then you would also have to wipe down the car with a grease and oil remover.

currently my car is not running, i bought a new core, distributer cap, and rotator so it can start, also i got my carborators overhalled, and soon trying to start her. my goal is to finish the rest of my car and get her running before i graduate. but i would want to get her painted, and ready to go by december. some things i want to learn about my z is where should i get parts, and also how these mangnificent cars work.

hey guys i need help with my carbs. i recently got them overhalled, and while i was trying to run it, my car wouldnt start. finally when i tryed to choke them with my hads i discoverd that they werent sucking any air, or gas. :ogre: does any one know how to fix this? thanks- dusitn

hey! im new to this forum, and i need your help on my 1974 260z. i just gout it a cupple mounths ago and some frineds told me that this would be the best place to get help, i was wondering what color and body kit should i put onto my z, since my bumpers are dinged up. i am in high school so i have a lot of money. i also was wondering what technique should i us in order to remove my paint.
