As far as POR15, we've used it on the Delorean and it is absolutely an amazing product. But you do have to follow the directions. The first time I used it, it was too cold and it peeled right off after it FINALLY cured.

I took my battery out for winter and saw the tray area for the first time. And I did not like what I saw. This is going to keep me up for days.

HOLY S*!T That is the most gorgeous example of a Lotus Esprit I have ever seen!!! Was considering one before the Delorean but they are just too expensive for me. Beautiful, beautiful car!

My darling, Matt: Actually, it wasn't mine or Kharma's idea. It was my brother, Judah's. I remember talking to you about it and deciding that I probably wouldn't do it. The next thing you know, he buys them for my for my birthday. I don't know, maybe Kharma had something to do with it. They look really cool though and I absolutely love them! Just goes to show you that Judah knows me better than I know myself. Zedevan: I see exactly what you're talking about. And, although I have become pretty attatched to the halo rings on those casings, I think I may make that upgrade before spring. Got and suggestions? To be perfectly honest (and a little bit dumb) I don't really see the difference. I want to say it was my terrible camera that gave off that horrible glare. There is noticibly less glare from actually standing in front of the lights. The first thing I did was test how bright they were to oncomers. I gave the Z to my brother and circled the block in the opposite direction in my neon a couple of times. The lights didnt bother me at all. However, I think you still may be right on those not being projectors. I will try to locate the auction where he bought them and we'll find out for sure. Both my brother and I went into this with little understanding of how h.i.d.'s actually worked. ...I wish I could find my Nikkon camera:disappoin

Well, there's no question there... THE DELOREAN! Let's see what else...tools, painting, fiberglass and other automotive supplies, my pitt bull, Emmie, my brother, Judah, the love of my life, Jason (although he never asks for a thing), all my other cars, my artwork (mostly for supplies for my painting and sculptures and such) and (yes because I'm still a girl) clothes and shoes.

Yes, the best part of the car is those doors. It's not nearly as fast a the Z but handles a million times better than any car I've ever driven. It has no body roll whatsoever, considering the suspension was done by Lotus. And that more than makes up for it.

It's fron Germany I think... Not quite sure, it was a gift.

You know, they might not be true projectors. To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what makes projectors. I like those housings though because I didn't have to aim them at all. That was the part I was fearing the most. The red neon on the right was my first car. I bought her new with 12 miles on the odometer when I was fifteen. She's my only automatic but I will always love her anyway. The green Hyundai was purchased as a work car for $150.00 and gets 40 mpg. I thought that was awesome so I bought the pink one and then fell in love with it. The pink one is much nicer to look at. And it's incredibly fun to drive!!!! IT's so tiny and nimble! I love it! The neon on the left was such a good deal I couln't pass it up. So I bought it and of course became attatched to it. Then my dad got a new job and didn't have a car to drive to work so he's driving that one. The Delorean came into my life and brought a wonderful friend with her. And he's been worth all the heartache the car has caused me. And the Cadillac... I don't know how that happened. I woke up one day and was like, "hey, there's a Cadillac in the yard. Hmmm" And then there's Kharma. I don't even have to explain why I love her.

It's not worth driving an auto, is it. What a waste of a beautiful car...

Absolutely! I chose those housings because they are projectors and I've heard they work great with HID's. TO be honest, I had no idea the blue light or the halo ring came with them. The blue light I could take or leave. The halo is kind of neat. But I have the two on separate switches and haven't used them at all since I installed the lights. And yes, the headlights are low-beam only. However, with the visibility I have and the accuracy of the projectors, I don't really need brights. I don't use them enough for it to make that big of a difference. Had I chosen the HID's, I probably would have gotten a dual beam but they were a birthday present from my brother. And I couldn't be happier. The blue is just a separate little bulb sitting in the housing. And I agree with you, dade280, I have blue lights in my pink Hyundai and it's really not easier too see. Thanks for the comments and opinins, guys. It's nice to know what eeryone thinks.

Well, I was going to get a video up because the pictures don't do it justice, but I have put the car to sleep for the winter. So here they are: The blue backlight (came with the projector housings) The halo ring (also came with the housings) The H.I.D. My heart is broken for you, Dan. But you've got your head screwed on straight. I know some guys who would let their families starve (if they had them) before they would give up their cars. Nothing comes before my cars now but I am sure that would change if I had a family. No car can compare to the love and support of the people who love you. You're a good man and karma will remember you when the time comes for you to get another Z. I agree with DeMoore, let's start a Save the Z Fund. By the way, Kharma doesn't like that picture you're talking about guys. She says "How dare you try to be overshadow me! What the hell is wrong with you?" It's no contest anyway, she's WAY better looking! I mean, c'mon, she's a Z! Look at those hips! That's sex on wheels right there, kids.

Yeah, that was another debate we had in the DeLorean club. Is it better to start the car up twice a month to, in other words, exercise the engine? Or is it best to leave it there all winter without starting it?
