Never found anything for Z apart from manuals,magazines and few generic Datsun parts. Own a EK Holden ute, son has an FC and daughter drives a Morris Minor so allways something to look for. Nick

Mick Could you post some pics of falcon set up and any other details. I was going to use Toyota calipers and DBA slotted and drilled rotors.But if I can use Ford style rotors Im sure the DBA rotors would be a lot cheaper? Thanks Nick

Thanks, thats something less to worry about. What about the under seal? How do you replicate that finish? I've used body schultz and that gave a "pointed " finish! spray on underseal, have tried that but didn't work too well. Any thought on product and means off application. Nick

Took the front wing off and cleaned up noticed some ugly tack welds where should be spot welds? Do you think the inner wing has been replaced? The rest of the welds seem ok. Is the standard under body treatment painted underseal?

Had a poke about The top section of the rocker panel has a small hole, but other wise "seemed" ok . The hole in the inner wheel arch 1/4" rest solid. the bottom of the dogs leg is patchable. I'll cut out the offending rust and have a good look at the inside. Thanks . Nick

Made a start on the restoration today, and found some rust,bottom of front wing,lower dog leg, bottom of door shut panel (see attachment) and under the drivers seat. Nothing too bad, but was surprised at the thinness of the steel? Have posted in gallery ,don't know how long it takes to get approved. What gauge steel should I get to make the repairs? Nick

Raining today so thought I'd make a start -
I just took the drivers seat out today adn I think this will give you a bit of extre height.

Will a 113mm backspace be ok on a 14" wheel or will I need a spacer? Fitted without tyre and looks ok, but will it rub with tyre fitted? Nick

When 4x114 is mentioned regarding wheels. The 4 refers to the studs but what is the 114 ? Nick
