The State of Things....
Hi Guys Like to know if you guys can tell me if all of my vancum lines are hooked up and or routed correctly. Here are some pics of the newly rebuilt engine I'm finally posting. Below is a link to my photobucket that has many more close up pics and angles to help view where everything is going. Remember it is an stock 1977 280Z 4 speed engine as mentioned above with the same engine and a newly rebuilt cylinder head that is the exact same as the old one it replaced, a N42. All new conntor plugs too. http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee59/partnateam/Ruby/ I also added pics of the MSA Aluminum Radiator, Thermostat control for it and the K&N Cold Air Intake Hoping to see if a line is wrong making my car run rich and not pass smog or if a injector is stock open. The injectors were rebuilt but one of them, the number 5 I think it is in the pics, was leaking where the top of green body casing meets the side of the injector casing. The warranty I believe is expired on them so I repleced it with a new Napa injector I originaly bought. Attached files for future thread searchers. ~Z~

Engine noise after oil change
Well I guess you just have to pop that valve cover off and set it straight. When valves and or rockers get loose they start to rattle. Before my engine was rebuilt I had that same effect at 4500RPM and above. Valves needed adjusting basically.

Just bought my dream car!
Wow she's beautiful, named her yet ? Get a car cover from Motor Sport Auto.com . They have the ones that repel water and keep moisture and mold from between the cover and car paint. If you really want a garage keep your home and get a barn shaped storage thing, like sic you see in backyards, and park your Z in that

Buying Celica GT ANSA parts!
Ouch, bad drivers stink. I agree, the up angle is way better theres another muffler I can maybe get with that same outlet pipe design. AND I'll finally be done with the Prototype ANSA Twin Stacks i've been working on building this weekend for Z cars! They look nice so far. Will post pics when done . I say that also. I would've loved the WekSos event too, sadly I won't be making it to this event either . I'll try and attend something in April .

260z rims
Z's run on 0 offset rims but you can use anywhere between +10 or -10. Any rims on like 1970's to 1980's rear wheel drive Celicas will work mostly along with 60 to 70's Mustangs or similar size muscle car like a Dodge Dart. Triumph cars too. Brands like Enki, Watanabe, American Racing, Ansen or anything old school. Look at Zbarn.com for a nice selection of old school bolt on and go wheels.

new here,,getting a 240z need help with vin
Well if it's really right hand drive then it could've been retitled, or renamed rather, as a 240Z once it got here into the States. And as far as this part goes, maybe 1 out of 60 in the states and maybe 1 of 60 for that year of 1973. You gotta remember there were quite a few military guys bringing these back in the early 70's. Also you should know it originally came with the S20 motor and NOT the L series inline six engines (L24, L26 or L28 ) offered for us. So you'll need to find another Fairlady parts car or S20 motor for sale to put it back to stock JDM spec, other wise it's just another right hand drive 240Z.

Replicating Rare NGK Decal ? Group Buy Idea
Just got my hands on a pair of authentic 13.5 x 5 inch "ANSA SPORT" stickers! The background is white with the words ANSA in red and SPORT in black if your not familiar with the logo. Only two I've seen since I started hunting Ansa's . And also got 3 of the same clear static cling reverse windshield version of this ogo in 5.5 x 3.5 too! The white paper backing can be left on to make it more visible as well. Put one of the static cling ones inside of my quarter window. AND IT LOOKS COOL, YEAH . Will post pics tomorrow or on Monday when I'm back home. Saga NGK . . . . continues . . . .
