Howdy - looking good. I have all the parts to do the same except for the pistons and I was wondering how it goes with the SUs. I plan to do the same (stage 1) and would keen to know whether the carbs are providing the engine with enough flow. Does it rev nicely and have a nice broad power and torque curve.

Cheers

Glenn

Nustad: S.U.s, including flat tops (don't shoot me!), can be worked to flow nearly as well as any of the twin-choke carbs. Webers and Mikunis are nice but I'm an old-schooler who's had both on several different applications and I just have an affinity towards the S.U. (both types) Greatwhite: Velocity stacks will make the carbs flow a little better.
