First, a long relaxing soak in Mineral Spirits, then brushed in the mineral spirits to get all of the old foundation(undercoating) off. Then they weere dried, wiped down with marine clean, rinsed, dryed, and last, "exfoliated" in the bead blaster. They came out looking like new parts, but they still have a soak in Metal Ready, followed by a good coat of POR15 before they are done..

Will, a little trick I learned when painting my arms with POR. I went to the dollar store and bought some painters brushes. The ones that have a wooden handle about 12 inches long and the brush tip comes in 3 different widths. I bent the tip about 45 degrees and this made painting the insides a breeze.
