race struts

panchovisa

6" steel threaded collars, single spring seat with thrust washer under spring,"soft" 260 lb spring (I want "soft" spring to go with big 1 1/8 adj. swaybar), camber plates mount on top of strut tower (gives me 1" extra bump travel), two thin rubber bump stops (2nd rubber acts as bump travel indicator).

Steve, they are nickle plated I believe. Chrome plating can cause hydrogen embrittlement if they aren't treated properly after chroming (NOT GOOD FOR A SPRING!!!).

They are from Carrera Shocks, as are the collars, camber plates, and of course the shocks.

Beautiful structural parts and craftsmanship.

Personally done for you, or can the rest of us obtain them.

wishihadaz, on the front struts the only custom work was relocating the brake line brackets and adding the stiffeners from tube to spindle forging.

The rest of the parts can be had from a wide varity of sources.

My rear struts are a different story. They are the only examples, and are my own design and fabrication.
