Can anyone tell me the correct diameter of fuel hose to use from the fuel rail to the Round Top SU's on a 1972 240Z?

Is it 5/16" (which seems a little too big) or 1/4" (which seems a bit small)? Thanks!

Carl

It's either 4 or 6 mm ID, Carl. You can tell by the size of the nipple. One is small and the other is large. I can't remember between the two, but the fuel pump takes the larger 6mm.

Thanks. I doubt it makes much difference between the two, ( nobody sweats the details like Carl) but I wanted to try to get everything as close as possible to the optimum.

Hi Carl,

This weekend I just got done taking off the rubber 5/16" fuel lines to the SUs that came with the car and changed it to 5/16" braided stainless lines. It fit just fine.

Now with the air vent fittings on top of the SUs, they're a little bigger. With the extra 5/16" stainless line I had left over I did these vent lines in stainless too, but it was a tighter fit...but did em too.

later.
