ROFLLOL :stupid:

Carl, your Darwin Award inspired me to report the following;

This item appeared in the Rockhampton Morning Bulletin, Thursday, July 17, 2003.

Lisa Burnett, 23, from San Diego visiting her in laws, called into a supermarket to pick up some groceries.

For the next hour, outside the shops, people noticed Lisa sitting in her car with the windows rolled up and her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head.

Her face was crumbling into tears periodically.

Eventually a woman walked over to the car and, knocking on the window, asked if Lisa was O.K.

Without moving her head an inch, and in a quiet voice full of fear, Lisa replied that she had been shot in the back of the head and had been holding her brains in for over an hour.

Without checking any further, the woman ran inside and called the police and the ambos.

On the scene in minutes, the cops broke into the car because the doors were locked and Lisa refused to remove her hands from her head.

Once inside the car, the crisis was over.

To their amazement, the ambos found that Lisa was actually holding a wad of bread on the back of her head.

A canister of par-baked scone dough had exploded from the heat, making a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot.

The wad of dough had catapulted through the car, hitting Lisa in the back of the head.

When she reached back to find out what it was, she felt the sticky mess and thought it was her brains.

The dull ache in her head certainly felt like a gun shot wound.

Initially, Lisa passed out, but quickly recovered and tried to hold her brains in for over an hour until someone noticed and came to her aid.

Lisa is a BLONDE.

Now, I reckon that is a bloody corker of a story. The fact that Lisa is a blonde WAS part of the article and NOT my add on.

Rick.
