Opinions on HD purple Simple Green

Featured Replies

I've always used lacquer thinner because it worked good and was cheap. Not cheap anymore and it was hell on my manicure.

I've read good things about HD purple on carbon and how well it works on aluminum. Anyone recommend this stuff?

Thank you. Cliff

Well that puts me out. Maybe I can get a pro to buy a jug for me?

I'm wanting to clean this P90 head I have and this stuff is supposed to be great on aluminum, no staining or darkening. So instead of buying the media, crushed walnut shells and the hassle of of this janky Harbor Freight blast pot I have I thought I would soak it in this stuff. Low and behold there's a youtube video doing the same thing. What could go wrong if it's on youtube?

I'm going to try it with a spray bottle and my electric pressure washer.
