I checked out two places where I’m at. One quote was $3500 the other was $5300. Looking to get as many quotes as possible. 

Not trying to be cheap or show quality, but good driver quality. Will hand them a shell.

Look at some of their finished work. Will they cut and buff the car for the quoted price?

Talk to a local paint supplier "quietly" and see if they will give you any recommendations. Don't ask in front of other customers!

    Thanks I forgot about that. Is there a preferred paint to use (brand wise)?

    Not necessarily. Most shops have a brand they work with and most brands make good paints and price point paints
