I've seen rebuilt cam and rebuilt rocker sets for sale on ebay. Anyone know how well these "rebuilt" rockers function? Longevity, etc.

Cams are re-ground and the rockers are probably just polished... you could have the same thing done to the ones you have for about the same price as buying replacements.

I'd want something better than "re-built" or "re-manufactured" inside my engines if you are going to spend the time and money to build an engine....Just my opinion though...

I can say from first hand experience that regrind cams from some comapnies are just as good if no tbetter than a lot of aftyer market cams, crane for instance, youl be lucky if ya get 15k out of one.

As for resurfaced rockers I see no advantage at all in buying new if the design is the same as oem. :edit, it only cost like 3 buck per rocker to have em resufaced im pretty sure.:
