Recommended High Quality Themostat Housing for 1972 Datsun 240z

Featured Replies

Last night while attempting to remove the Water Temperature Sender from the Thermostat Housing on my 240z, i over tightened the sensor and broke the thread where it slides in. I believe this part can be replaced and i decided to purchase it at MotorSport Auto.

Is this part of high quality and will last me or should i also purchase this one as NOS to guarantee an extended duration as this one?

I haven't purchased this part from MSA, but I have bought a lot of parts from them, and so far they've all met or exceeded my expectations. Not sure this helps you or not, but I'd be comfortable with what they sell.

Both MSA and the eBay seller are re-selling factory Nissan parts. In other words, all three are the same part. MSA's mark-up is much more reasonable, and customer service probably better.

Not to take a sale from MSA, but it is a small sale, you could probably get this directly from a Nissan dealer.

Which Nissan Dealer??

I still need a PCV Valve, Wiper boots, license plate lamp, 5 speed wooden knob, and a relay for my intermittent switch which is not flashing as you can see it flashes on the board but not the lights.
