Hi all. I am by no means a metal worker, so here goes.

I paid a guy (its always "a guy") to weld up my floors, and he did a decent job, but didn't weld the horizontal seam in the footwell. Since it is much easier for me to rivet than to weld, is that sound thinking? I can waterproof the area without any problem. All help/opinions/insults are welcome.

Thanks

Curtis

what kind of shape is the rest of the car in? do you have the money to have it welded?

if its a rustbucket then

pop rivet

if its nice and you are going to keep it then

have it welded

else

take it back to him and have him finish welding.

I know a guy in Lawrenceville who could weld it for you. He's a Z guy, too.

Anybody know good welders in South Florida? Preferably Broward county
