the $69,000 one must be some kind of rare car, because the took the body of the FRAME!

IMO, if you really want to see what a more (reasonable?) price for one is, wait for one to be on one f those car auction shows.

$69K, yeah good luck with that. LOL It's very possible to take the body off the frame...............................with a torch! ;)

The problem with rare cars is that rarity makes pricing is problematic for the seller as well as the buyer.

I have a neighbor trying to sell a DD quality '65 Austin Healey Sprite that she has owned for a very long time. She has a sign on it "$19,999 OBO". Unfortunately, it probably worth between $5-6K. Potential buyers shy away from a reasonable offer because the seller indicates she does not have reasonable expectations.
