200B Tape deck fits, and will actually work in most cases.

FYI for those that don't know,

easy way to tell late to early console is where the demister switch is placed, front of gear shift for early, behind, for late..

I just came from Kuwait last week, every thing is available for 240k, every thing is available !!!! they classify the parts as

brand new and Austrailian

BN prices are : empty console ( early ) 400 $, tape ( early ) 1000 $ , radio 150 $ , boot 125 $ , rim 100 $ , wooden knob 350 $ , fog switch ( early ) 100 $ , plastic cover X 2 50 $

console ( late ) 500 $ , tape ( late ) as it is shown above 700 $ , fog swich ( L ) 150$

while second hand are so handable 30 to 50 % of the prices I bougt an early console with radio only 200 $ only , when I reached home ( 750 km away ) I found the radio is OK.

btw the most exp. parts are

fender mirror 2000$ for new pair, muffler 1000 $, instrument panel cover ( which has seven hols ) 2000 $ LH, front fender trim 400$ each, etc.
