Hi, i'm looking to replace all of my brake hard lines on my early model 260z. i'm looking to buy some pre bent lines. I'm wondering if the lines are all the same for all years?

No, unfortunately they are not.

Early Z's have proportioning valve in back integrated into a T junction, later have it in front as a separate device on the fire wall. The distances to the differential pressure switch may have also switched with brake master and booster changes over the years.

I just did all the lines in a 240z and from that experience, I would recommend you pay someone who can do custom lines to do your car.... not a brake shop but rather someone who is an experienced restorer and has a good intuitive sense about 3 dimensional space and geometry AND has a good flaring tool.

I'm about to order the hard lines for my 75. Classic Tube's site only lists a 77 under 280z, but it appears the two years are very similar, if not exactly the same. Am I correct on that?
