I'm going to clean my intake manifold up and make my engine look nice(er) im looking for an intake manifold to practice on first before i ruin my current one and leave the car undriveable.

Rob, Wow... Talk about coincidence... I've got one that I was going to scrap because the casting is all eaten away and corroded under the EGR valve. If you're positive that you'll never actually want to use it on a car, it's perfect for practice. It's probably off a 77 if that matters.

Not sure what your budget is, but the best way would be to have it bead blasted and powder or ceramic coated. Just my $.02

Not shiny clean, but die grinder no more extra brackets and vacuum hoses clean. Sorry for the confusion.
