Only pic i have in between painting

25092012240.jpg

I fully polished them to start with

Then with fineline(blue vinyl tape) i masked off what i didn't want painted. I will get a closer pic with a proper camera to show where i went with it tomorrow.

Once masked, i gave the areas a light hand sand with a superfine spong pad which is equalivant to about 700g paper just to rough the surface.

Gave it a good clean to get any compounds and dust off it then applied a light coat a 1k epoxy etch, i only gave it a light dusting so i didn't get much film build.

Let that dry for a few minutes then applied 2k matt black, again with light coats to keep film build down

Nice! I notice some of the chrome work I have has black on it also. Is that factory?
