Posted June 3, 201113 yr comment_357699 On my '78, I found a horizontal slot, about 30x120mm, on the lower back panel above the exhaust tip. It's behind the bumper, so I never noticed it until the bumper was removed. Does anyone know what it's for? thxZ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39784-mystery-slot-above-exhaust-tip/ Share on other sites
June 3, 201113 yr comment_357707 Maybe heat from exhaust passes through to dry behind bumper and slow rusting. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39784-mystery-slot-above-exhaust-tip/#findComment-357707 Share on other sites
