Wheel options - 240K coupe

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

My forst post here!!!!

Got myself a 240K coupe today, a little on the rough side, but I can fix that!

Just wondering weather later Skyline wheels will fit?

To re phrase, is there a list somewhere of STD fitment Datsun/Nissan factory wheels that I can fit to dress her up a bit??

Thanks,

Adam.

anything 4x114.3 and around 8' wide. just depends how much you want to spend. plenty of options out there

8" wide may be pushing it on a standard 240K set up.

6.5" - 7" may fit depending on offset and tyre combination.

If anyone has fitted 8" on a standard suspension/non-tubbed set up I'd be very interested to see.

James

Thanks for all the replies!!

Going to try a few Niss/Dat wreckers here in Melbourne, I often see sets of wheels for sales there, a local Mazda wrecker I use usually have sets of Wat's or similar, off imported cars, for sale..

Thanks again!

O.K, I think I have this sorted (I Hope!!)

Going for Superlites, charcol centre, polished lip.

Best I can work out (using Watanabe site) is that I can fit

15 x 6.5 rims -14.5 offset with 195 tyres

just not sure on offset.

Does this seem right to you all????????

**Was going to order them today :) :)

So the 7 inch will fit?? at that same offset??

I wasn't sure, as they are a special order, so didn't want to get stuck!

Might just go 7in on the rear??

What you guys think??

The performance superlite don't come in 1/2 sizes, so would only go to 7

Looks like you said 7in rim with -0 offset?

I have ordered the ones above, but can make one change if I need to.

So I will go 15 x 7 with -0 ofsett??

If thats the go, just let me know and I will amend the order.

Just dont wanna risk to much as I cant exchange or return LOL!!

Guest Flauski

I have 15x7 +12 on front and 15x7.5 +6 SSR MKIIs on rear of my car and they fit perfectly.

They look tough too!!

My wheels arrive on the 6th so cant change them now, but may sell these of and go as you have done Flauski!

Thanks for the info!

They come in whole sizes only (no .5 in sizes) and offsets from +\- 0 - 25mm

The 15 x 6 (+12 offset) I have ordered should look like this....

from memory mine are 15x6 +15 with 195-70r15 (commodore rubber) and i can barely get my fingers between the guard or strut and the tire. I have the old skool tire bulge going on though so i think you may be able to go bigger rims with stretched tyres :>

soopakarr was running DR30 multi spoke wheels (not sure on the dimensions) with 205 rubber and folded gards and it "just" doesn't scrape... still not enough rubber for road tyres and 200+hp :>
