N33 intake manifold

Here is some of the information I have gleened from limited searches about intakes: the following is a rule of thumb,

E-46 came on 69-71

E-88 were on 72

N-33 were on 73 with flat tops

N-36 were on 74 with flat tops

It is "said" that the N-36 flows better because of slight volume increase over the others, but I haven't found any figures to compare how many cc difference there is between intakes. I will find out for sure this fall when I take off my N-36's for polishing. I have all but the N-33's for comparison.

Anyone have some real numbers?

The N36 and N33 don't have significantly different port diameters when I measured mine. The internal casting is most certainly different when you feel inside with your fingers.

I installed the N36 at the same time as my header so I can't say for sure if the intake on it's own will make an improvement. The intake manifold and header together made a noticeable difference. I run the N36 intake with a non-egr balance tube. I'm afraid I don't have anything more scientific than that.
