Hello all

So this past weekend I was working on the Z once again putting the washer reservoir back in and running. In the process I started reading things that were written on intake manifold. Come to find that it says N42 on it. Confused I walk to the other end of the car and find that the cylinder head is an N47.

So I'm wondering one thing. I'm new to Z's and have done some research but isn't the head and manifold supposed to have the same ID on them or can you mix and match them?

Head has a type code, so does the intake, so does the block, and they don't need to be the same.
