Sometimes yes sometimes no

They are quiet and last a long time if not destroyed by tank debris. I was just reading about issues with aftermarket pumps made in china and sold under the MSD name. You are better off with a quality OEM pump than a new Chinese aftermarket POS.

Sounds good, another question. When I took out the sending unit the rubber o ring broke, do u or anyone else know were I can get one?

Give Les a call. He does everything for Z cars. I did get the seal from him. I actually got my pump from an old 280zx that was undergoing a V-8 swap. The OEM pumps are expensive though...but are quiet.....

You might want to look through www.rockauto.com . They have a really good supply of OE comparable stuff for Z cars, like OE type parts, not the AutoZone or K-Mart brands.

Wow I just looked up rockauto, they got it. It's 400.00 bannanas. but I guess thats the pump to get.

There should be TONS of them out there. Post a WTB ad on all the Z sites or simply look through the classifieds for parts cars.
