Hey guys

Featured Replies

My name is Jacqueline. I used to have a 2003 350Z. but being in college full time I was struggling to make the insurance payment. So I sold her and bought a Tacoma and a DRZ400SM instead. Well I found a 1981 280ZX for sale and I just couldnt pass it up. Its in pretty good shape, just some rust on the rear quarter panels near the wheels and the battery tray, and missing some interior panels. I am very excited to start working on it, cause Ive just about ran out of stuff to do on the 400SM.

Welcome to the board and congrats on the purchase of the Z. She looks pretty clean.

BTW, cool avatar!

A pickup truck...

A bike...

And a Z...

Outstanding...

(Looks like SportBikeMike has those covered too).

Welcome aboard!

Make liberal use of the search function as most questions you can imagine have been asked and answered in the past.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard! You are almost guaranteed to enjoy your Z-car.....

This is a great place to be for tips and advice. You'll likely find most things addressed in the archives as bigoak mentioned, but you'll also find a wealth of knowledge here on the boards.... Put up some more pictures... we all like pictures here... also there are some interesting cars in the background in the picture you did post...

Thanks for the welcome.

Hey zbane, I was trying to take pictures of the parts I was missing to make it easier to see, but I cannot find my camera... I tired to find pictures of what I was missing too, but no one seems to have one.

But I am missing the panel that is in the very rear of the car that covers the tail lights. I have the ones that cover the spare, but I am missing everything else in the back.

Also the radio is missing, so there is just a square hole in the dash.

Im also missing this piece:

My interior is brownish tan, but if Im not to picky about the color at this point, Im thinking about changing the color any ways...

Thanks again!!
