DO you have a picture of the light surrounds? Is it the black and crome part you are thinking of? Or the beaver panel itself? If its the crome bits, then we would have to find both sides to make a mould with mounting points. Does it look like any parts in the pitcure?

i would be very keen on a set of the tail light surrounds too :) it is the last remaining item on my GT-R shopping list

I attempted to buy a few when i had a contact in japan, but i always fell short, even around the $1250 mark! (probably a good thing though.. it was impulsive at the time, and needless to say a waste of money for a bit of plastic)

Perhaps somebody could replicate them from a photo (maybe in clay or something to take a mould from?)? the mounts etc are all the same as the non-GTR..

anyone got any ideas?

Hi Guys,

Ben came back with an offer regarding the bits. He will make the mould and pay for the freight for anyone suppling the parts to make the moulds from. Here is his starting prices:

flares - $220

grill - $200

Bob tail - $120

Front Apron - $80

The grill would be without the steel backing.

Your thoughts?

I was hoping to cast them in two pieces, front and back, then glue them together, I'm not sure how thick the lenses covers are, this would determine whether I use glass or resign.:stupid:

Are you planning on making the surround and lens?

Sounds fair enough, but I would think some one would need to uploads some pictures of a complete grill to show how the mesh is attached
