But I was wrong. Is there a metal line going from the clutch MC to the Slave? Or how dose this work? Is their a diagram someplace somebody could post for me?Dose anyone here have what I need to finish this?? Im going crazy here people! :paranoid:I am doing this myself and have know idea what I am doing. July 18, 200816 yr comment_253843 Yes there is a short metal line that connects the Master to the Slave. They shouldn't be too difficult to find. Since my Z is a automatic I cannot help you with one , however since most Zs are manual . Any one that is parting out a Z should be able to help you with one. July 18, 200816 yr comment_253848 It's not all that short, but it is required. It runs behind the engine as shown in the attached photo. It is also very difficult to get mounted properly while the engine is in the car, and you will need to either find the correct rubber isolator blocks for it, or modify the ones you now have. Your car will probably lack the metal mounting tab on the side of the right frame rail where the metal line and your new hose join.I posted a fairly complete parts list in my tech article on this a while back. While it was written from a Series 1 point of view, almost all of the info there is still valid for the later cars. July 18, 200816 yr Author comment_253850 Yea Arne I saw that article. I can take the rubber blocks from the other car if they are still their. The engine is out of the car ready to go in. I am getting tired of missing parts! What happened to the pic? July 18, 200816 yr comment_253856 Should be virtually the same for all manual transmission LHD S30s. If the exact year isn't the same, you may have to tweak the master cylinder end a bit, but that's all. July 20, 200816 yr Author comment_254038 The mount that holds the hard line where it meets the flex line is it one on the rubber hooks that are bendable like the ones holding the wiring? My car has a loop down under the battery tray way back close to where the starter would go. Or is it something different?
