Does anybody know how to open the hood of a 1978 280z? My release cable pulled all the way through from the inside.

Jack the car up and slide under it. With a long screwdriver you can pop the latch. It won't be easy to see, but you can get it that way.

You might want to try the "search" function on this website. Lots of good ideas.
