Featured Replies

Hi all, i cant believe i didnt find this forum sooner! i have 2 240ks. one is green and road registered with an L24E, the other is a hideous off road vehicle. you can see them at http://www.datsunownerstas.com. i recognise a few tassie K owners on here, Noddle and Fudge hope your projects are going well. i have been driving K coupes for 10 years and cannibalising K sedans for a similar amount of time. its good to see so many of theme here from around the world!

there will be more pics of the green beast when it gets a makeover in summer.

Noddle, some of your mods look very similar to mine - slotted rotors, toyota 4 pots, webbing removed from intake mfold ect. why the bracket for the rear discs? were the ones you used bigger than the R31 discs? im about to do this mod.

I going to use some MR30 rear calipers, I have them from my wrecked MR30,

I should think they will be better than the drums.

Nigel

i am going for the worlds slowest recorded 240k related project.. that and the record for swapping between the most number of engines.

The green beasts "summer" makeover is dragging on. I ran out of summer for bodywork. but it now has big fuel lines, surge tank, R31 rear discs. Haltech manifold is finished, just need to install it and wire it up, fit my A/F ratio meter and get tuning.

and get it back on the road!!!

Haltech works!

So does the wideband!

and it drives again, but just up and down the driveway for now!

Nice to see it running,

any plans for putting a turbo on it ?

lots a learning when you go to tune it, unless you taking to a tuner.
