i got a lead on a 240z well actually its 4 240z's, a friend of a friend has 4 of them. Going Sunday to check them out and hopefully become a Z owner!! :classic:

he states that one is in good condition but the carbs need balancing; the other is fair but runs good; and the other 2 are donor cars.....

Good luck! Make sure you assess the rust and the general condition of the car; wiring, completeness, etc. Some parts are getting hard to virtually impossible to find.

Write down the vins/mfr dates and take inside and outside pics of all the cars, it is easier to know where a needed part is,than to travel and find out where it isn't!

Every private parts car I visit I do this to, so even if the car isn;t mine, I know what should be on it-it really helps when it comes time to consider buying another parts car.

Good luck. Sblake's advise is gold. Assess the rust!! You can always walk away and keep looking if the rust is too bad. Maybe you can take/swap some trim and parts from the donor cars if the good-condition car is missing anything or needs replacement..
