Customizable rear defroster kits!

Featured Replies

I did a quick search for a replacement rear-window defroster grid, and I found a place that has ones that you can trim to size!

You can buy the entire kit: http://www.frostfighter.com/prt2600.htm

Or you can get just the window grid: http://www.frostfighter.com/prt26STK.htm

So now you can just scrape off the oem one (if you want to) and put on a new one,

About 50 buxZ for the kit, which includes a switch & relay. About 30 buxZ for just the grid

The patch kit(a conducting paint) will take care of your issue for about $3, two bits of tape and a few minutes.

Woo Hoo. Mine still works, except for 1 line
So does mine....all lines. Replaced the rear window in 2000, no problems since. And I still contend that OEM is the only way to go.
