Ok, so over the years I've seen a lot of anime references, screen names, avatars, ect...

so I figure its time to ask the big question:

Who watches anime here?

(Mike, I'm calling you out!!!!!!)

Also what are you watching/favorite series & it'd be cool to know how old you anime fans are.

so here it goes!

I'm 20 years old & I'm really into sci-fi anime (usually mecha based) such as:

Gundam Wing

Martian Successor Nadesico

Robotech

Ghost in the Shell

Cowboy Bebop

Tenchi Muyo

s.CRY.ed

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Trigun

Samurai-ishness like:

Rurouni Kenshin

Samurai Champloo

BLEACH (I'm going as Renji for halloween. haha)

Beserk

Claymore

& car stuff like:

eX-Driver (the movie has a 240z & 911 on the american "team")

Initial D

Wangan Midnight.

so lets hear it!

26, and from the start since Dragon Ball was on the fuzzy regular

T.V. station with no cable at 2 o'clock in the morning :D

Guess it really started when I was 4 and Thunder Cats came out, Mumra was the **** :bandit::paranoid:

Latter progressed into the real stuff when Toonami first launched on the

Cartoon Network with the original host, Bob, showing Gundam Wing and

Outlaw Star, remember that one :)

Toonami was the bomb wit the original host intsead of the replacement guy

who got the show cancelled.

Anyway I enjoyed their music features they did with the Vincent Price like

voice over narrator dropping jewles of advice and knowledge over different

kinds of music.

Like Trance, Hard Techno, Lounge and even Jazz music which I know SBlake

would've liked, seeing how he's a Saxophone player, while playing Anime clips

from various shows in sinc to the rythms of the music.

Some of the music the used I had the CD of months before like

Ghost by Day on the Gearwhore Album and lots of the

stuff they were using from the Ninja Tunes lable based out of the U.K.

I belive London exactly.

My Favorite "video" they did was the one where they used the

Gundam Wing scenes along with Outlaw Star and at the end the narrator

tells you to, "Don't be a failure" in a low voice.

Keep in mind he was saying alot of other stuff that lead up to that, but that

line at the end was his point which he muralled and nailed.

All the while speaking his poetry to some slow opera type music in the

background with Mechas in space in front of setting suns falling behind a

floating Earth, Lift Offs and Smoke, and Mellow Strings (orchastra) ^_^

Cowboy B rocked solid especially the final episode.

Neon Gen Evo I rented every DVD which took about 2 weeks worth of late

night sitdowns and ACT II Xtream Butter or Kettle Style popcorn

(the later being the show favorite ! ^_^)

And Dragon Ball just straight rocked :smoke:

If you like those you should try

Demon Hunter Yohko

Samurai Pizza Cats

Mutant League

( as in Mutant League FootBall video game by Elactronic Arts for

SEGA Genesis which FREAKIN ROCKS !! )

Vampire Hunter D (if you ain't seen it)

Hellsing

Blue Seed (very cool)

Real Bout High School (Funny Funny Funny comedy writers in this one)

Google our Yahoo seach those names if you like.

OK that was long enough, i'm out ^_^

What ever happend to that series?

Did it finally end?

Also let us not forget about Gunsmith Cats !

ガンスミス キャッツ, Gansumisu Kyattsu

Drawn by world master Kenichi Sonoda.

With Rally Vincent packing a CZ-75 (gun) and her grenade totting

sidekick "Minnie" May Hopkins.

Along with their supped up 1967 Shelby Cobra Mustang GT500!

I bought a few of the comic books and each one of them seem to a them where it's a Anime style car like a Ferrari, or something or other, along a with a coresponding charachter on the cover :)

If you like Action Adventure and Detective Novels this is for you!

Here goes the Wiki File

And some YouTube links below for starters ^_^

As it turns out the Gunsmith Cats Intro inspired Cowboy Bebob.

I'm surprised no one said Wangan Midnight. It doesn't come on here in the states but you can see it online in a few different places. I've seen a couple of avatars on this site from the manga I believe. For those who don't know its the one with the infamous "Devil Z". I think its been mentioned here before.
