August 17, 200717 yr comment_218797 I sat that this morning too. I was going to post it but I figured that it's so 'non-stock', grille, trans, body kit, spoiler, steeering wheel, etc. Bad tail lights, cracked windshield, hasn't run for a year........... August 17, 200717 yr comment_218841 The air cleaner is from a later model - it has the summer/winter flap and heat riser. "all running gear" is not stock - 5 speeds were not available on the early guys. Aftermarket steering wheel and emblems are shaved too. Can't tell what the rust situation is from the pictures. Sub-500 cars are rare rare rare... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25242-early-z-on-ebay/#findComment-218841 Share on other sites
August 17, 200717 yr comment_218845 I'm with Stephen....as is, it's pretty ratty...and the amount of work (and expense) that would be required to return it to stock is pretty daunting. August 18, 200717 yr comment_218859 I like the part about engine serial matching VIN. Shouldn't it be off by 200-2000 digits? It looks like the console is from a later 240. Maybe he got his tags off #383 and put them on a '72-73 shell. Maybe his firewall reads something like 3x383 instead:) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/25242-early-z-on-ebay/#findComment-218859 Share on other sites
