Anybody buy the chrome windshield trim from Black Dragon for their windshield(I believe it lists for $129)? I bought it sometime back in anticipation of replacing my windshield.

I had the glass replaced today by Safelite and the top chrome piece doesn't even come close to matching the car. Hell, I even bought the rubber gasket from Black Dragon too! Has anyone else bought this kit?

I had a similar experience with them last summer.

I ordered two front brake rotors for a 72 Z. They sent two, one made in the US and one from China, both tagged with their part # for the Z. The US rotor fit, the Chinese rotor was a vented casting drilled for a 6 lug wheel and had a diameter about 1 1/2 inches larger.

I guess I'm just boned and have to order another set.

I ordered it over 180 days ago, when I first thought I had a windshield, so I am out of their return period.

Don't take that as an answer from Black Dragon. That's just horse shite in my book. By storing it for a period of time doesn't make it warp or shrink does it! So they are just hiding behind a "policy". Give them heaps man, don't settle for that answer at all.

If you don't get any luck then go to a bone yard and pull an old set of any S30 body you can find. The stainless will polish up like new with a bit of elbow grease.
