What is the difference?

Featured Replies

I was looking up parts for my '76 280z and a question arose. What does it mean by 2+2? I know that's probably a stupid question but I'm a new Z owner and I just don't know.

No stupid questions if 'ya don't know the answer...! 2+2 is a few inches longer than the regular Z and has back seats. I've never sat in one but would imagine it to be pretty tight...

Chris...

Here's a couple pics of a 260Z 2+2 here in the member galleries. Not sure who's this is. Note the longer doors, extended roofline, and the shape of the rear quarter windows. They're the same as the standard S30s from the windshield forward, but it all goes to hell from there back. Whoops, did I say that out loud? :tapemouth

And the 2+2 referrers to the seating capacity 2 in the front and 2 in the back.
