Fuel tank reconditioning/replacement

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I could have the tank from my '73 reconditioned? Anyone have one for sale?

The tank's tubes ended-up clogged beyone repair and were damaged when I tried to clean them out.

I recall Motorsport used to send tanks out for reconditioning, but not anymore.

Thanks.

I got my tank done by Moyer Fuel Tank Renu. Looks like brand new to me. Ran me about $295.00, but then it was in half way decent shape. I even had a pretty good area on the bottom where it was caved in about 2-3 inches and it also had a small punture. I sent them a picture showing them the area of concern and they took care of it....

You might try Danny's Datson's . He is quitting business and may have a few in stock. Worth a try . Gary

I would second that thought , call Danny's , he is a great guy and sells good stuff.

I used Moyer Fuel Tank renu. They were good but you need to tell them what finish you want on the outside which should be black satin. If not they will spray it with a smooth undercoating.
