I have a 1971 240 that I spent a great deal of time repaiting. rebuilt head,new fuel pump ,water pump , rebuilt carbs, new rear cylinders and shoes, new exhaust, refurbished gas tank etc etc. I moved to Florida and can not take it with me. Looking for someone who might be interested in buying. Also looking for any club on Long Island.

You could list it on the classifieds here, on zcar.com and on hybridz.org. There are also some clubs in Florida that might be interested if you can't keep it but could get it there.

Pete is right, put an ad in the classifieds with a few pics. You'll get plenty of views on this forum.

Surely though, there is a way to get it and keep it in Florida, there are always storage places.

If it is a matter of moving it from A-B, there are a good number of auto movers out there. I just moved my BMW from New Mexico to Florida for about 700 bucks, may be cheaper for you.

It's certainly worth looking into as a means to keep a car that you obviously care about.
